The Atlanta Model

What a community can do

Atlanta has long been a vibrant southern city, a destination that for decades attracted and warmly welcomed Jews from across America and the world. Jewish life in Atlanta today is experiencing a renaissance.

The premise is simple: the world around us cannot be controlled, but who we are and what it costs to come after us can be.

This is a community built to thrive, a place where Jews are involved, give their time and treasure, engage in deep Jewish learning, show up for one another, and fight for Israel. Everything below is one of two things: building Jewish life, or vigorously defending it.

Jewish Community Professional Tuition Grant

An innovative, first-in-the-nation program that offers 50% off day school tuition for children of full-time employees of a Jewish organization. The program ensures that the professionals who lead our Jewish institutions can give their own children a Jewish day school education. At a time when finding and retaining quality professional talent is a challenge, this program has changed the value proposition of what it means to work on behalf of the Jewish community, while freeing up millions of dollars to be reinvested into academic excellence. Nearly a quarter of all day school students in Atlanta benefit from this program.
